you don't scale products with ads. you scale products with understanding. the moment you know your customers better than they know themselves... congratulations. you can turn any product into a 8 figure store.

@ecomjohne 400 ads/week sounds crazy until you realize creative volume is becoming the biggest competitive advantage in ecom. AI just lowered the cost of finding winners.

Closed out the month of May at $1.3M in sales. Around $200k net profit. This brand did $1.9M total last year. The power of compounding effort and focus on building real systems. The only significant operational change we made was scaling creative output. We’re now launching 400+ ads/week, mostly AI videos. There’s never been a better time to be in ecom.

The biggest differences between $1M brands and $10M+ brands isn't just ad spend It's how many pages, offers, and funnels they ship and test per month

Static ads test ideas. Video ads scale ideas. Editorial / native ads find audiences you did not know you had. Each format does a different job. Do not mix them up. How I use each: > Static: angle validation, fast cheap testing, persona research at low budget. > UGC video: scaling proven angles into trust-based purchasing (testimonial, real-user proof). > Native / editorial: finding new audience pockets by reading like content, not advertising. Common mistakes: > Producing video before validating with static. Burns production budget on unvalidated angles. > Using UGC for angle testing. Production cost too high.

The 8 ad creatives ranked by conversion rate in 2026 and the one at #1 that every operator is too proud to use: 1. Real customer videos in bad lighting - converts 3.2x faster than produced content. Shaky phone. Kitchen counter. Real hands. "This actually fixed my back pain" in a voice that sounds like your aunt. Bypasses the "sales pitch" filter because it looks too amateur to be an ad. Free to collect: one email on day 14 offering 10% off for a 15 second video 2. Before/after with real customers - highest converting visual asset in ecom when compliance allows it. Nothing else comes close. The transformation is the entire ad. No voiceover needed. No script. Just the visual evidence that the product works 3. AI character content posted 6x/day - $200/month vs $5K/month for UGC creators. Never ghosts. Never asks for a raise. Converts 3-5x better than UGC because consistency builds more trust than any individual piece of content. Women 50+ can't detect AI voices and have no reason to check 4. Competitor 1-star review as hook - "I bought [competitor product] and the handle broke after a week." Screenshot of the real review. Then your product with "reinforced stainless steel handle." Their permanent negative review is your ad hook. They can never delete it 5. Live commerce clips repurposed as ads - raw 15-second moments from live streams outperform produced content because the buyer can feel the difference between staged and real. 15-20% conversion rate during live vs 1.4% on static pages. The clip carries that energy into the ad 6. Static ads generated by AI from winning video angles - take the hook and angle from your best-performing video. Feed it to Claude or an AI image tool. Generate static versions. Run them on Meta alongside the video. Statics convert differently than video and reach different placements. $0 in design costs 7. TikTok affiliate content scaled to Meta - seed 500 free samples to TikTok affiliates. 50 creators make content for free. Identify the 2-3 winning angles. Recreate those angles for Meta where margins are 3x higher. $2K in product samples replaces $50K in agency creative testing 8. Polished UGC from a creator with a ring light - converts lower than every option above. Costs $300-500 per video. The creator received the product 4 hours ago and doesn't use it. The viewer's brain registers "someone is being paid to say this" within 3 seconds. The entire UGC industry exists because operators don't know options 1-7 exist What they all have in common: the creatives that convert best look the least professional. Raw beats polished. Real beats staged. Free beats expensive. The $5K/month UGC budget produces worse results than a single email asking customers to film themselves Your UGC agency won't tell you this. Your $5K/month retainer is their rent

@adamtaylorl Totally true man, different angles usually come from systems and vomume not from one person staring at the same ad account every day.

I'll die on this hill: If you in ecom doing $250k+/mo and you are still managing all your ad creatives, you are the bottleneck. Your angles will blur together, and eventually, all the creative in your ad account will look exactly the same. Step back from execution and launch a predictable creative system that scales based on proof, not guessing. Tell me I'm wrong.

"ecom is saturated." yet one of my stores is at $112K/day. same internet. same meta. same ads platform everyone else is using. saturated just means most people are copying each other badly. the ones who actually understand their customer still win every time. always have.

AI can now generate the same cartoon character across unlimited scenes. Rick and Morty-style. Consistent. Scalable. This is an ad I made for myself, I've run this style across multiple ecom brands. It sold. Watch 👇
