@golz_tv JJJ was one of the biggest critics of Landon's sabbatical & supporters of Klinsi dropping him from the squad, cuz they wanted players who wanted to be their & to hold players accountable for not pushing themselves. Now, he's defending CP10 for doing the same thing. Hypocrites...

@golz_tv Horrible defense... a.) we're all criticizing Ream, Freese, Dest, etc. for their horrific play, too, b.) he identified that Pulisic is both the face of the team & soft af, which is exactly why we're calling him out, c.) hypocritically, he used to want accountability for the team.

“It’s interesting to see one guy speaking. If we played overseas, he was injured, but then in MLS, he played two days later.” 😳 Former USMNT midfielder Jermaine Jones has come to Christian Pulisic’s defense, and hits out at former players criticizing him. Jones was speaking on ESPN FC about the fallout in the U.S. following Pulisic’s exit from the Belgium match. “I played with Christian, and I always said that Christian can be the best player America has had in football, in soccer,” Jones began. “That's clear. I played with him, I see his quality, and everybody sees his quality. “But I know too that Christian is not somebody who is, when he's injured, he says straight away, ‘Oh, I'm out.’ “He wants to play if he can play. So I'm not a fan of it when you see people who retired working now on networks or working with their own podcast going against people. “And that's nothing to do with the game. Because in that game where you lose against Belgium, [Sergiño] Dest made a mistake, Tim [Ream] made a mistake. [Matt] Freese made a mistake. “But we hear nothing about these three players. It's just Christian. “He's the face, yes. But in general, the whole team has to be good. And that's why I say, we live in a football world in the landscape in America where if you criticize, especially if you criticize other people, they get angry, they feel like, ‘Oh, you are attacking me personally.’ “That’s why you just attack Christian, because he's right now the biggest face. He's played in Italy, he's played in Chelsea. “But that has nothing do with football, because if you look at the football side, what he did already since his young age till now, for this country, is a lot. “I don't understand, because people are attacking him for exactly the same stuff. When they say, ‘Oh, he's going out because of injury, or he's doing this, or he's not coming to the game.’ “I was there where other players did the same. I saw it. So I just listen to it and think it’s interesting to see one guy speaking. If we played overseas, he was injured, but then in MLS, he played two days later. “So there's different stories on everything, and I think they should just focus on the game. “Yes, you can criticize if he played bad. But then you have to criticize everybody for this game against Belgium.”

@edusax79 Go watch more matches... Pelé was the all out target of aggressive tackling constantly trying to injure him, which it did in 1962 & 1966. The game was FAR different back then, where Pelé was constantly having to fight for his own survival. Pelé > Messi youtu.be/HIXk-ARkIw8?is…

Por este codazo, Pelé tuvo que haberse ido expulsado y no jugar la final de 1970, afortunadamente no había redes sociales y nadie pone en duda que Pelé era el mejor del mundo o que lo ayudó la FIFA.

Maybe they don’t want us to win because we won the last World Cup." "Nowadays, with VAR, it’s very difficult for anyone to help you. Lisandro Martínez had his foot stepped on; it was a foul." @UniversoCelest No nation is as corrupt & beneficiaries favorable decisions by FIFA as Dirty Argentina 💩🇦🇷... these graphics don't even get into 2 foot tackles breaking US GK legs in 1930, drugging water bottles in 1990, Maradona PED 1994, flops for red card in 1998, PK brawl at 2006, etc.

@UniversoCelest A.) It IS being rigged for you, others getting favoritism doesn't negate that. B.) This is a CLEAR penalty. I'm a big fan of Mazraoui, but he messed up here, sliding in the box. When you do that you open yourself to attackers tripping themselves over your legs. It's still a PK.

@Azadi77 Only... Neuer made clean contact w/ the ⚽️ b4 Higuain got there... I understand why got this wrong, cuz you think that bogus PK Messi got vs. POL at Qatar was legit, but it was not. That's just another part of the bogus favoritism for Messi/Argentina...

@EmileoCrafts25 @FanDuel @RobStoneONFOX I feel Poch is overrated even apart from the US. Marsch is definitely not the best, as he has MANY flaws that have consistently been exposed, that he hasn't learned from & adapted. Pellegrino Matarazzo is best, but maybe too Eurocentric. Wagner, Vermes, Porter, Schmetzer, etc.

@Lotharis1 @FanDuel @RobStoneONFOX I like Poch & he's a great manager, but it is true that no team has won a WC with a foreign coach. Problem is we need to develop elite American managers if we want to do that but rn the best we have is currently managing Canada (Jesse Marsch)

@02_TR_ @CFCMods I agree, taking off his shirt should have gotten a yellow... but if we're talking slaps in the face.... this was the more blatantly obvious one not called. The Messi one happened in a crowd & w/ the players shifting around. This was clearly a reach out attempt to stop him.

I’m crying man just clocked in both the Cape Verde and Egypt games the referee gave more fouls against Argentina in both games, you’d actually think it was the other way around the way people make it seem 😂

@jodycwilliams @GallantSays There are people who know FAR more about the game than him, who are better at imparting knowledge onto others, and inspiring them to go out do better. Henry is a likeable guy, but not a real leader of men. He's more of diva. Zidane, Deschamps, Viera, etc. were his teams' leaders.

For all the hate of Lalas, I don’t get the glazing of Henry as a broadcaster. The thick accent is tough to understand if you’re anywhere loud. And here he’s sanctimoniously saying nothing like he’s Tony Dungy.

@SwishJericho @JordanLindsey88 @CarliLloyd Do you not realize that bone bruise & microfracture are just attempts at damage control, right? You are aware how many top level athletes have played through far worse injuries than that... sore calf, bone bruise, butt hurt... he doesn't have the guts to be a clutch athlete.

I don’t owe anyone an apology. My comment wasn’t about his post game interview. He skipped Gold Cup last summer because he wanted to rest and be ready for WC. He ended up resting the whole year. That’s the facts. Nothing personal against him.

@CarliLloyd waiting for apology now, you went overboard on one of the greatest Americans to play this game. Champions league winner, etc. you owe him a direct apology

@CarliLloyd These Dr's reports are just damage control. Bergeron played the Stanley Cup w/ broken ribs. Schilling pitched an ALCS w/ open sutchers holding ligaments in place. Youngblood played the SB w/ a broken leg. Strug landed a vault w/ a broken ankle. That's the guts it takes. Not CP10.

@mariaba692 @GallantSays Yet, Henry was the one advancing a baseless opinion that he couldn't defend & childishly refused to answer the question about Cristiano Ronaldo having his 3-match ban suspended. The reality is the ref made a mistake on the field, FIFA rightly corrected it. They should more.

@yurichri @GallantSays What sense did he make? He advanced a baseless opinion he couldn't defend to say he thought it was a mistake, but shouldn't have been corrected, then he couldn't address the point that Lalas rightfully presented, about Ronaldo's 3-match ban getting suspended so he could play.

@ManagerTactical None of that FIXES what's wrong w/ US Soccer. We have players playing at top clubs. We were beat by a guy who's a backup on a club that Musah starts at. Talent & skill development is not the problem. We lack a unique playing style & a coach who can get the most out of our talent.
