@markydh If playing 5 at the back you’d usually go 5 in defence, 2 DMs, 2 CAMs and 1 striker, as the wingers are usually redundant with wingbacks, so I would have thought they’d still be in for one at least. 4-3-3 is essentially the same as 4-2-3-1 it’s not entirely that much more safe.

A one man team who will always compete near the front for points because of that. 2025 season nothing special about it.

Been made to look better than it was due to underpeforming Lando and Oscar at different stages of the season. Not an all timer season that people tend to spew.

@LufcTest @bell_tino @StaurosNiarchos So he lost to Lando driver, who you refer to as not top tier. That alone should tell you that his car wasn't up to speed. That middle part of the season from Spain to Hungary essentially ended any chance he had at a title, and it wasn't Max, it was the car.

@chucky_martin68 @bell_tino @StaurosNiarchos You agreed it is 0.1-0.2 tenth maybe over the course of the season. The RB was faster on high speed circuits which Max won easily. He lost out to Lando Norris who is not a top tier driver and it was only close due to their inter team battle for points. So overrated.

@oversteerbeast @mercsogyny This would have been dreadful wheel to wheel if Oscar had a backbone, definitely a crash or yield moment for him.
