@github Saw the Redact approach — pruning React to exactly what's needed. We've been doing the same subtraction on backend deps lately. Dropped a couple of indirect ones last week and cut our container image by 28MB with zero code changes. Simplicity

@goal Leao’s transition numbers are ridiculous. EPL’s speed and high press would suit him way better than Milan’s patient build-up this season. Could actually unlock that final third bite he’s been missing.

Fintech systems process millions of transactions daily. Every payment needs two things to happen: → Save transaction to DB → Notify downstream services (ledger, notifications) Looks simple. But in microservices, this is one of the hardest problems to get right.

@mrunmayee300 Rebuilding Git in Go is a great way to really get the internals. The ref and index handling surprised me most when I poked at it years ago. How are you structuring the object store?

Started learning Go recently, so I picked a project that would teach me both Go and Git internals. Building **mygit**: a Git clone from scratch in Go! So far: ✅ init ✅ blobs (SHA-1 + zlib) ✅ trees ✅ commits (DAG + refs) ✅ log

Chased a Postgres query stuck at 200ms p99 for days. Planner kept picking a seq scan on a table that got skewed after last week's bulk import. Ran ANALYZE + updated stats. Dropped to 14ms. Indexes lie when the data changes under them. #postgres

@Bharat1056 "Cut our build time from 90s to 12s today. The win wasn't caching — it was reusing connections and fail-fast health checks. Initially, I overestimated the pool size, but load tests helped me tune it. Debugging became much easier too." #postgres

@LukioTec Mostly moving to pgxpool and adding fail-fast health checks. Reusing connections removed a lot of overhead, and debugging became much easier. What didn't work initially was overestimating the pool size still tuning it based on load tests.

@LukioTec Channels aren't in this one, it's purely primitives. Did benchmark sum() vs fib(10) vs fib(20) with testing.B though. Naive recursive fib gets expensive fast, which is exactly why Go's concurrency model exists. That's a later project.
