Just wanted to let everyone know I’m the new sports editor at The Herald-News in Dayton.
Most of the things I will cover involve Rhea County sports, but also I will write features, signings, Etc. for The DPA.

Jamboree tickets can be bought from Coach Bunch for $5. All proceeds from presale tickets stay in Meigs County. Also season tickets can be purchased in the office from 3:30 to 4 for $35 for our 5 home games.

High school sports used to be about growing up dreaming about playing for your local community’s school. Wearing the colors and repping your mascot.
Now it’s about paying thousands each year in the hope you can get a $5,000 coupon to a $30,000 a year school.
