Out and about in Hexham today. We had varying responses to our question of the day, "Should men be allowed to use women's toilets?". Yet again, all the men unhesitatingly said "No". Women on the other hand.... @LWSLocals @StandingforXX @ThePosieParker

Efforts to narrow the definition of womanhood, police people’s gender expression, and reduce people to their biology don't protect women - they harm us. Attacks on trans rights should never be done in our name. We must stand in solidarity with our trans siblings.

Join the FSU, live in conversation with Kellie-Jay Keen. In 2018, she erected a billboard displaying the dictionary definition of the word “woman” – “adult, human, female”. This simple statement became a global rallying cry but resulted in censorship and deplatforming, social media bans and financial exclusion. On Friday 27th March, ask her anything. 🎟️ TICKETS ON SALE NOW 👇

A giant leap forward for women’s sport. They’ve done the right thing with a strong, clear policy. No equivocation, no tap-dancing, no pretence of “balancing priorities.” Plus, a means to test for eligibility. Those responsible (this time) deserve real congratulations. More later

J.K. Rowling says HBO's #HarryPotter series "is going to be incredible" after the first trailer drops: "I’m so happy with it." Twenty minutes earlier, Rowling celebrated the Olympics' decision to ban transgender women from competing in women’s events by writing: “Today’s ruling by the IOC means a welcome return to fair sport for women and girls, but I’ll never forget the scandal of Paris 2024, when people who consider themselves supremely virtuous and progressive publicly cheered on men punching women.” Rowling was referring to the Olympics decision to allow Algeria’s Imane Khelif to compete in the women’s boxing competition at the Paris 2024 summer games, one year after Khelif was disqualified from the Women’s World Championships for failing a gender eligibility test due to elevated levels of testosterone in her system. Rowling denounced the Olympics at the time. Khelif was born female. variety.com/2026/tv/news/j…

If you come for the Queen, you best not miss! 🥊🥇 #ImaneKhelif
