after 480,000,000+ $JUP votes were cast, the Net-Zero Emissions proposal has passed with a supermajority in favor (75%) no more net-new JUP entering circulation. team emissions halted. mercurial sell pressure hedged. jupuary postponed (and snapshot preserved). this is the most aggressive supply commitment any major token project has made in a while, and we're excited that so many token holders were in support. i know this wasn’t easy. like any governance process, not everyone got the outcome they wanted. but every side gave something to the cause here - including the team, the community, and the stakers. that’s what long-term alignment looks like. now the only thing that matters is what we do next. no more debates about emissions. no more supply overhang narratives. the excuses are gone. what’s left is execution. we have things in the pipeline that are going to make this entire debate feel small. you’ll see soon enough. oh and btw, $JUP staked is now at an all-time high. onwards and upwards.

The Net-Zero Emissions Vote has ended with 75.3% in favor of Net Zero Emissions. Net-new $JUP emissions are now effectively zero for the foreseeable future. Jupuary is postponed indefinitely, your snapshot is preserved and the 700M $JUP returns to the Community Cold Multisig. Team Reserve emissions are paused, and Mercurial vesting will be offset by Jupiter's balance sheet. Thank you to every voter who took time to discuss the proposal and cast their vote. 🇺🇸 President Trump has solved the affordability crisis in the crypto market. A lot of people can't afford $BTC at $126K, so he brought it down to $60K. A lot of people can't afford $ETH at $4.9K, so he brought it down to $2K. A lot of people can't afford overvalued alts, so he brought them down 99%. He did this even with his own coin $TRUMP, as it was unaffordable at $80, so he brought it down to $5. A true "Crypto President" by every means.

Not just one time one-off buyers of jup and holders. The exodus is happening, and you can't see it on that glorified chart!

everyone’s out here saying they’re selling their $jup, weak hands this, project dead that… but then i look at the staking data and total staked is sitting at 816 million jup 👀 pending unstaked? ~41m. that’s less than 5% of the whole thing. and if you actually look at the chart – staking has been growing pretty consistently since early 2024. no mass exodus, no capitulation, nothing dramatic. so either people are lying about selling or they’re just making noise on twitter while quietly staying staked lol maybe stop listening to the timeline and start looking at on-chain data. it tells a very different story.

In 3months, very many users of jup who make up the community would've found workable options that will cause them to navigate away from $JUP. & that's when doubts set in.

Because I’m really tired of everything happening around $JUP and @JupiterExchange It used to be about community, fun, and vibes, and future... now it feels like we’re constantly talking about money, pressure, and drama and bad decisions ✅The products are amazing and I’ll keep using them, they’re top tier But I don’t agree with many recent decisions: the votes, the community airdrop being deleted after 13 months of users “earning” it (yes, it was announced and planned), and the constant changes that lead to a “team sacrifice only if the community renounces its airdrop” Let’s be honest: Option 2 will win, everyone knows it This is not FUD, just transparency I’m simply convinced I can make more from this capital elsewhere rather than sitting, overthinking, and losing both brain cells and hope🧠 💡Maybe I’ll start accumulating again if I find new motivation or see the right potential

Every product the @JupiterExchange has now seem very redundant, and as long as I can get the product some place else, the jup team have become redundant.

If you're wondering why $JUP has only gone down over the past two years… Just 8 days ago someone dumped 2.5M $JUP again I can’t say for sure whether it was the team or Mercurial stakers I also don't want to judge These unlocks were known, and realistically 99% of us might have done the same in their position But there were plenty of wallets like this — and they were blatantly dumping on the market They didn’t even bother using Meteora to exit DCA. They clearly didn’t care about eating $5K in slippage Even though this is a strong argument for Option 2, I still voted for Option 1 — mainly because I don’t think Option 2 gives us guaranteed upside I also expect crypto to go lower from here If BTC drops to $60K, no one is rushing in to buy our bags. At that point, it won’t matter whether $JUP is at $0.14 or $0.07 And in the end it might punishes users for mistakes the team made (tokenomics) I still believe there is a big future for $JUP but probably not today or tomorrow
