As for the stench: I saw an old rickety house that looked like it had been hit by an artillery shell half wrecked and leaning crazy to one side ready to collapse. In any normal city the structure would’ve been condemned by the safety commission and bulldozed. But the corrupt overpaid democrat demons who run Oakland don’t bother with minor issues like public safety. I saw an African-American man wearing only his under shorts emerge from the hole in the front of the “House”that used to be a front door. He carried an old 5 gallon Home Depot bucket half filled with some liquid and other stuff (I’ll let you guess what it was) He walked out and poured it into the street..umm yeah. Below you see a very typical sidewalk setting. Sure, there’s a small downtown area that gives the impression of normalcy, but it’s a somewhat sordid veneer to cover the reality.
