Next Thursday, the MA Senate will debate and vote on the PETS Act to combat animal cruelty in Massachusetts. The PETS Act includes a bill I filed to promote ethical pet sales which puts a stop to the cruel and inhumane “puppy mill” pipeline that ships pets into our state. (1/3)

Massachusetts could ban pet shops from selling dogs and cats. A new bill would only allow adoptions through shelters and rescues, with fines up to $1,000 for a first offense, $2,500 for a second, and $5,000 for repeat violations.
