Since Dustin pointed this out (and since @FreddieKraft said Bubba wasn't upset with Bell), here's this from under caution on Lap 42. Christopher Bell's team was keeping tabs on how many were pitting vs. staying out. Bell was on the border of coming to pit road when he was told to stay out just before the commitment line. As Bell is slowing down just before pit entry, Bubba Wallace passes him on the outside while passing by other cars committing to pit road. Bell throttles up and passes Bubba back for what was ultimately third spot. Shortly afterwards, NASCAR ruled that Wallace was ahead of Bell, and Bell objected. "He pulled up! We hadn't even gotten to the commitment line yet!" ... "We need to complain about that. That's not protocol." "That's literally BS!" Bell's team tried to argue their case to NASCAR, but it ended up not amounting to much as they were coming to the choose zone and restart. Is this what the conversation was about? Was Bell actually the one upset or were neither of them upset? Is this another red herring and did I just airball again? I guess we'll have to tune into DBC tomorrow to find out.

@STaranto92 I still think it has to do with the yellow on lap 42. Bell lined up to pit. Bubba passed him to pull up to the cars that stayed out. Suddenly Bell decides not to pit and passes Bubba and then is told by NASCAR to get behind the 23. Bell was not happy.

@FreddieKraft @STaranto92 I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to watch the broadcast of their heated discussion and draw the conclusion Bubba may have been upset. He sure looked upset. Walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it ain't a chicken.

Okay, here's what I THINK Bubba Wallace might have been upset with Christopher Bell over. This was coming to 8 to go Bubba was called to pit road in the esses past Turn 1 with Bell and Todd Gilliland on his bumper. But coming out of the carousel, Bell got a run to Bubba's right side, and the 20 team didn't inform him that the 23 was pitting until Bell was alongside him. It put Bubba in a tough spot getting to pit road, as he couldn't just try to cut across Bell's nose (Cody Ware was there and limping around), and he had to slow down to let Bell, Gilliland, and Riley Herbst pass just so he could make pit entry. I didn't hear Bubba say any cross word towards Bell over his radio so it's hard to know definitively. I also tried to look at Todd Gilliland's onboard to see if there was any contact, hand signals or anything but the 34's onboard was out and audio only the whole race.

Give me a second to work here but I think Bubba MIGHT have been upset about something that happened with around 8 to go. Bubba was trying to get to pit road and Bell put him in kind of a tough spot off Turn 6

@MBV1980 @FreddieKraft @STaranto92 I know twitter is the place where people usually come to just make shit up, I’m not really interested in making shit up. I wouldn’t say I’ve done exactly what Bubba was doing with Bell if I hadn’t done that exact same thing damn near every week with my coworkers.

@43tpink @FreddieKraft @STaranto92 during those multiple conversations, do you continually gesture your frustration at the individual in front of you? i don’t have to know the details of the conversation to see that one individual is clearly upset with another. no reason to make this more complicated than it is.

@MBV1980 @FreddieKraft @STaranto92 You’re still speculating because you don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve had multiple conversations in my life where I am really mad at someone who isn’t the person I’m talking to. My sight doesn’t give me gift of sound, I’m guessing yours doesn’t either.

@43tpink @FreddieKraft @STaranto92 i guess using the gift of sight isn’t your strong suit? to also quote Freddie, “Bubba wasn’t mad at Bell.” if he doesn’t want fans to speculate, maybe he should lay off the gaslighting. Anyone who isn’t blind saw that he clearly was.

@FreddieKraft @STaranto92 wth do you expect people to do when they have eyeballs and clearly see bubba directing frustration toward Bell on pit road immediately after the race?

@Speedemonchris_ @BAFuller54 @cantbfaded18 @EricEstepp17 your driver wrecked himself because he felt entitled to a part of the track that was occupied, then lost his mind and ruined a solid day sinking 10 spots through self inflicted injury. i’d be big mad too. i feel for all you KB fans, i’m afraid the well is dry.

@Speedemonchris_ @BAFuller54 @cantbfaded18 @EricEstepp17 nah, he was just more clear than JHN. watch the video. is it’s a pattern with KB. look at all the clips floating around of him clearing himself and taking people out across the years. it happened just a few weeks ago with the 4. you dick riders are insufferable copers

@JrCamino8 @GOWENYT there’s this brand new invention called a “spotter” to help with blind spots. you might even hear them say “quarter” to let you know you’re not clear of the car above you

@Trevor_S_Huff @TheLuxxRyder @b1gnate_11 no one has an obligation to place their car where other drivers expect it to be especially at a track with multiple lanes. it’s on the driver and his spotter to communicate clearly if another car isn’t where it’s “supposed” to be. KB literally did the same to the 6 one lap prior

You need to trust that someone isnt just going to give you no room or just body you. Applies to every racing series. If someone doesnt go to the expected place everyone goes to so they can enter turn 3 normally, that’s unpredictable. You cant just turn down on someone or just hold the middle of the track and expect the guy behind you to know you arent gonna do the reasonable thing and put the car where everyone runs. If you want to argue dont waste your breath. Yes you can say that he doesnt need to be predictable and being predictable isnt racing style which is true to an extent.

I really do not understand how any of what Kyle posted makes any of what happened less of his fault 😵‍💫

@JleeStewart_88 @dgoodin24 It’s not arguing he changed his line, Busch is arguing he had room to the wall causing the contact since he was half a car off. If his spotter is just saying outside he’s expecting him to be at the wall. Whether it’s right or not who knows.

@THE_B1G_K1TTEN @KyleBusch @zachstur you can’t even get your math standards right lol two posts ago JHN was wrong for being 30” from the wall, now it’s a matter of 15ft? plenty of other KB fans on here acknowledging it was his fault. no need to deny reality bro. not clear literally means there is a car there

@MBV1980 @KyleBusch @zachstur They race inches apart, not clear means don’t move up into his lane not “stay 15 feet from where he might be.” You could say it’s 50/50 sure I guess but you can’t act like kb cleared himself and is 100% at fault lol

@THE_B1G_K1TTEN @KyleBusch @zachstur this was a GWC. JHN has every right to suck air off a quarter panel to gain or maintain position. again, not his responsibility to be where KB wants him to be. don’t need a 360 camera when your spotter hasn’t cleared you and is still saying “quarter”.

@MBV1980 @KyleBusch @zachstur Busch would’ve made no contact with anyone running a normal line out of the corner. You think they have 360° cameras they’re watching? Also it’s kind of his responsibility to not put it on someone’s quarter like that when you have the room and want to not finish 97th for once…
