Namibia’s capital markets maintained resilience in Q2 2025, with funds under management up 15% YoY to N$304.9bn. Pension funds and unit trusts accounted for over 75% of total funds, while the bulk of investments remained concentrated in Namibia and the Common Monetary Area (CMA).

Makalani plans N$1 billion capital raise for regional impact fund Makalani Fund Managers is aiming to raise N$1 billion for its first regional Impact Fund, targeting institutional investors in Namibia and South Africa to finance infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, and manufacturing projects. Managing Director Salomo Hei said the fund will also invest in selected projects in Zambia and Botswana.
