Eurojury result if you weight each countries points by the amount of jurors in each country. I.e. ROW ranking weight 12 times more than Belgiums (12J Vs 1):

@Reality_Tim @MLT2022 The second highest Maltese population (outside of Malta) is Australia. 550,000 living in Malta, 200,000 Maltese people in Australia. So yes, Malta is indeed a friend of Australia’s.

Other notes: 🇬🇷 have a 0 pts problem, which likely does need overcoming with great staging, the good news? Of their 12 0pt returns, 5 of them have came from the 6 jurors of 2 or less

Small warning/context regarding Denmark’s promising Euro Jury so far Average pts received when 2 jurors or less = 9.4 Average pts received when 3+ jurors = 4.4

@DuruChantelle On Spotify I perhaps even agree re Spaceman vs Eclipse, but they got every drop of juice out of Spaceman with the delivery. It felt like a Grammy performance. That’s not so easy to acheive and I can’t just expect it from Australia this year

@MLT2022 I mean I disagree on the wow moment, Eclipse IMO builds in a much bigger way than Spaceman. It sonically clearly has staging in mind. However I largely agree with you about the rest of the analysis of 🇦🇺. Except I think it’s biggest J threat is 🇩🇰.

Spoke about it a bit yesterday so lets use my pre-run coffee to talk about how I see the Jury Vote this year. First let’s say I think it will be close with no clear winner unlike the past 2 years. This is one of the reasons I see value in a high TV potential like 🇬🇷 outright.

@dino__j I think back to JJ’s like 12 second IG snippet release and the initial impression it made on me and many others (even if they were less keen on the full song). I really don’t see that essence here. It is though an entry that really requires the full package to judge fairly

@MLT2022 🇫🇷 song is weak, but I think it's weak in quite a clever way. The intro strings, and Monroe, will draw the viewer in, and there are checkpoints that should re-capture attention. The chorus is the only really crap bit, and I don't think it's meaningfully worse than JJ's

while being the most competitive of these 4 among the TV is the path that could deny victory.

Final points: The selection might well get longer before it gets shorter, which would be nice. I really wish 🇦🇺 was dominating EJ tbh. As a 🇬🇷 Outright backer this functions as a cover. If i’m right that the Jury is close and 🇬🇷 hits its TV potential, then 🇫🇮 winning the j..
