@baldursgate3 Is the bug on Mac with skipping/out of sync dialogue being fixed in Patch 7? Previous patches fixed the big performance issues on Mac but this is an annoying glitch that remains (that wasn't there previously before the update that originally broke Mac performance)!

The Patch 7 Closed Beta has been delayed.
Why? While fixing bugs, passive dice rolls literally stopped working.
We’re trying to figure out how we got here, so while we do that, we’ll be pushing the planned Closed Beta back to later this week.

Hotfix #23 is here, addressing several crashes and bugs!
The tradespeople of Baldur’s Gate have had a word with our people, and we both agree that container-based antics, while amusing, are damaging the economy, and so we’re also submitting fixes for several bugs with buying and selling, in this hotfix.

Microsoft essentially acquired the best parts of OpenAI for $0 - 2 of the original founders (Sam & Greg), now unshackled & probably with a lot more skin in the game. - A significant amount of OpenAI staff will follow Sam & Greg to the new org, some of the best people in the world. - Access to OpenAI’s existing IP due to current agreement, making it easy for this org to instantly catch up to OpenAI. - The only people left at OpenAI are decel safetyists, whom msft don’t want anyways. Sam & Greg will basically get a blank check to shoot for the moon. Microsoft is already planning >$50B of infra spend over the next few years. Somehow, Satya managed to extract an outcome that actually leaves Microsoft in a BETTER position vs last week. I’m more bullish on Microsoft than ever. What a legendary run.

In a complete reversal, I am coming back from 48 hours away from Twitter because I got tired of everyone talking about Twitter... to talk about Twitter.
Specifically, what specific features I'd pay a monthly subscription for.

@karlhigley @gsingers They are still, ultimately, based on some form of “pre compute everything offline” (though truncated to some type of top-k most “important” in this example). So this is another drawback/trade off.

@karlhigley @gsingers I’m sure there are other examples. They’re perhaps not most SOTA approach but do have plenty of upsides in terms of ease of use and speed, and actually also flexibility. But definitely they lack rich content feature modelling we have with modern embeddings approaches
