I bought a gaming laptop for $1,400 — cheaper than a PS5 Pro With a Plus subscription over the console's lifespan.
The result? I'm running Crimson Desert on max cinematic settings at 80 FPS, true-to-life quality exactly as the developers intended. Meanwhile, the PS5 Pro owner is stuck at either 30 annoying frames or 60 with no ray tracing, a pile of visual compromises, and fake 4K.
