Dear @Goonz_World Family,
As I sit down to write this, my heart is full of mixed emotions. It’s been an incredible journey since I first joined as one of you back in November 2021. From creating content out of sheer passion for Sean's art to becoming the "Voice of the Goonz," every step has been nothing short of a dream.
I remember creating marketing assets for our first apparel collection. They might not have been up to our current standards (shoutout @gilligan_co & @_vanisher!), but they were made with love. From content creator and moderator to the Voice after NFT NYC 2022, each role has been a chapter in this amazing story.
We’ve built something truly special—a tight-knit, authentic community that supports each other and never gives up. The strength of this foundation is something I’ll always cherish and be proud of. We all should be proud. You’ve all made this experience unforgettable.
Reflecting on my growth, both personally and professionally, is overwhelming. Shifting from medical school to the unpredictable blend of social media, blockchain tech, and fashion was a leap I never imagined taking. Yet, here I am, immensely grateful for every moment of it.
But now, it's time for me to take a step back. I will be relinquishing my equity within Goonz and moving into an advisory role. I trust this decision will help create flexibility for growth as we head into 2024.
Remember, "Always Never Give Up" and "Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop" are not just phrases; they are mantras we live by. I am not giving up, nor is the team. I'll still be around, ensuring a smooth transition and staying active in our community—perhaps in an even more fun and relaxed role.
What's next for me? I'm diving back into healthcare as the COO of a biotech focused on a new avenue of cancer therapeutics. It's an adventure I'm excited to embark on.
I can't express enough gratitude to @JesseFriedland, @drewsifsoup, @GoatCloak, @iamrobotbear, @gilligan_co, @_vanisher, @Joel_Cryptoon, and all of you in the Goonz community. The memories we've created and the bonds we've forged are treasures I’ll always hold dear.
So, here's to the future of Goonz World—I know it's gonna be f*ckin' sick! I'll be cheering on every step of the way.
