Coming to the UK from overseas is a privilege, not a right. Any foreign national with a history of crime and violence is not welcome. If you pose a risk to our country, you will be refused entry or removed.

@barnyboatman The asylum system has needed an overhaul for many years, but open borders can’t work, obviously. Unsure about their drug approach. Some of their more extreme policies don’t seem particularly well thought through however. Motorway speed limits at 55 for example. Leaving NATO?

The notion of a world without borders is a fanciful aspiration. Some of their actual policies in this area such as safe secure routes, and allowing asylum seekers to work seem both practical and humane but I don’t know all the details. A public heath approach to drug addiction, rather than a criminal one has been broadly positive where it has been tried. I’d want to move carefully in this area but there is a lot to be said for it and i certainly don’t see it as extremist.

@barnyboatman Don’t disagree about reform. Issue is, green are extremely far left. Having either extreme party doesn’t seem like a good idea. Entirely open borders seems unsustainable. I’m very wary of their legalising drugs approach too. Tax / energy / water could all be positives though

Reform are nasty, dangerous. divisive and a Trojan horse for the likes of Musk Trump and Putin. Farage is corrupt snd self serving, and his one contribution to the U.K. is Brexit, an absolute disaster. From what I know the Greens are the opposite. It would be worth voting them in for the nationalisation of the water companies alone. They are better on tax, energy, the environment, welfare… and crucially for me they would not support genocide. What’s dangerous about them?
