What’s the point of calling them “Adventure Vehicles” if they can’t even start when it matters most? Unfortunately, Hemant ji, who is known to me and part of our expedition group, faced a DPF failure at Umling La Pass (19,400 ft) in Ladakh. The vehicle had to be rescued by Team Mam Vaneeta Kang, who handled the situation professionally under extremely challenging conditions. What is even more disappointing is that Mahindra has now refused the warranty claim, asking why RSA was not called at Umling La. Are you serious? This is a location where people are advised not to stay for more than 15 minutes due to the extreme altitude. Were they expected to stand there for hours waiting for roadside assistance? After marketing these vehicles as adventure-ready, refusing warranty support in such circumstances is unacceptable. Please look into this matter, apologise for the inconvenience caused, and ensure the vehicle is repaired under warranty. People invest their hard-earned money in these vehicles trusting your claims.
