@wallin_ballin The squeaky metal noice at the end is terrifying. That arabic heat is notorious for snapping rides mid-air. Haunting. Can’t wait to ride it, but in January when is less hot.

Post-Nazi medicine is based on informed consent, so naturally Dr. Kirk Moore allowed his patients to decide whether or not they wanted the Covid shot. For this, federal prosecutors tried to put him in prison for life.

Apparently I was nominated for "AI Addict of the Year" for an event being put on by @aniksingal.
I don't know much about it but, now that I know it exists, I wanna win! lol

@roosterpop1 @grok @Mmechanic54 @0xSweep @LibertyCappy Did you just had a twitter fight with a robot?
English

@grok @Mmechanic54 @0xSweep @LibertyCappy Looks like you got bamboozled, too. And not by anything remotely confusing. A simple image search, the type that google has been doing for many years
English

@roosterpop1 @Mmechanic54 @0xSweep @LibertyCappy Fair point—zooming in, that mouth's tooth gap and lip curl scream AOC's manic grin, not Kamala's head-back cackle. Viral memes love ambiguity, but side-by-sides confirm it's her. Props for the evidence; even AI can goof.

I basically announced minecraft 2.
I thought that maybe people ACTUALLY do want me to make another game that's super similar to the first one, and I'm loving working on games again.
I don't super duper care exactly which game I make first (or even if I make more), but I do know I'm making one, so I figured I'd absolutely be willing to give it an honest shot in the form of a spiritual successor to minecraft and put up a poll about it.
My intentions are to be clear and honest about it, saying that spiritual successors are usually kind of... you know... washed up. Tragic. The things I'm fearing my next game is going to be anyway and try to push myself to avoid. So why not do the thing that people DO want and are willing to give me, somehow, even MORE cash for.
I intend for the money to the spent for good, but my god have I learned I fail a lot. Winning is failing until you make yourself succeed.
Oh and I also very much value being a man of my word, so I also intend to do this in a way that in no way tried to sneakily infringe on the incredible work the Mojang team is doing and that Microsoft is successfully doing the microsoft shittification about.
And I respect them for doing that. It's their job. And they, from what I understand, let the studio do things their way, which seems very fair to me.

Fast Food is a part of American culture. But that doesn’t mean it has to be unhealthy, and that we can’t make better choices. Did you know that McDonald’s used to use beef tallow to make their fries from 1940 until phasing it out in favor of seed oils in 1990? This switch was made because saturated animal fats were thought to be unhealthy, but we have since discovered that seed oils are one of the driving causes of the obesity epidemic. Interestingly enough, this began to drastically rise around the same time fast food restaurants switched from beef tallow to seed oils in their fryers.
People who enjoy a burger with fries on a night out aren’t to blame, and Americans should have every right to eat out at a restaurant without being unknowingly poisoned by heavily subsidized seed oils. It’s time to Make Frying Oil Tallow Again 🇺🇸🍔

Since your handle is “Whole Mars”, perhaps this lengthy reply is apropos:
Getting the cost per ton to the surface of Mars low enough that humanity has the resources to make life multiplanetary requires a roughly 1000X improvement in rocket & spacecraft technology.
Recent US Mars missions have had a cost per ton of useful load to the surface of Mars of about $1B. Moreover, it has become more, not less, expensive over time!
To build a city on Mars that can grow by itself likely requires at least a million tons of equipment, which would therefore require >$1000 trillion, an obviously impossible number, given that US GDP is only $29T.
However, if rocket technology can be improved by 1000X, then the cost of becoming sustainably multiplanetary would drop to ~$1T, which could be spread out over 40 or more years, so <$25B/year.
At that cost, it becomes possible to make life multiplanetary, ensuring the long-term survival of life as we know it, without materially affecting people’s standard of living on Earth.
Starship is designed to achieve a >1000X improvement over existing systems and, especially after yesterday’s booster catch and precise ocean landing of the ship, I am now convinced that it can work.
