Mangapps Railway Museum

Steam are returning to Mangapps this Easter, Normal times and prices will apply, except on steam days (20th & 21st) when fares will be £16.00 adult. Prices for child participants in the Easter Egg Hunt are- 3 y.o. to 16 y.o. £10.00, under 3s £5.00, these prices include trains✝️.

Mangapps Railway & Museum will be open over the late-May Bank Holiday Weekend and every day during the following week. Trains will be running every day, with both steam and diesel trains running on Bank Holiday Monday 😎🌞.

We pleased to report that Steam trains will be running at Mangapps this VE Day monday 😃🙌.

No.2613 "Brookfield" running on the Easter trains last Monday 🙂.

Today we ran a re-creation freight with Drewry 11103, it went well and looked quite realistic 😃. @railadvent @railwaysillus

Only the finishing touches and minor details to complete now on Drewry 11103 😃, All the skirts are now fitted with the rest of the vinyls to be applied. 11103 will be running for the first time at Mangapps during our August Gala on 23rd - 26th 👍.

@Nictrain123 Yep 🙂, it came to Mangapps from the Embsay and Bolton abbey last year.

Wednesday's working party on Drewry 11103 ended with some very exciting results 😎👍. All number vinyls are on and the sideskirts are now fitted. We look forward to seeing 11103 running for the first time at our August Gala on 24th - 26th 👍. Pictures - AF Grimmet.
