We've launched the new ‘SPARC’ programme, funded by UK aid through the Department of Health and Social Care’s Fleming Fund. It aims to improve surveillance and prescription of antimicrobial medicines in low and middle-income countries.

Pharmacists are key to improving access to quality antimicrobial medicines.
When patients are forced to use low-quality antimicrobial medicines they have a higher risk of developing resistant infections.
