One of the most unpleasant aspects of armchair Premier League fans who never go to watch their teams play is that they will go into work/school on a Monday and ridicule proper supporters of smaller clubs who do actually go to watch their teams play. This is called banter.

I see constant complaints about how there are no characters or mavericks in the game anymore. Within 10 seconds of this little bit of showmanship, Cherki was being lambasted by comms for being disrespectful. Need more of it. Cherki top boy.

@MarcusClayson @JackMulhall92 Or proven wrong, as we were in a path to better things. It's all about perception I guess. We can both agree Skubala out was a honking shout though - whether he changed or whether he was always on the right path.

This isn't smug or anything, but I really hope that our current success demonstrates something to fans. March 1st 2025, we lost 4-3 at Barnsley. We were poor, but the flood of 'Skubala Out' messages around then was unbelievable. I even turned commenting off because I defended the team, Skubala and got all sorts of abuse. One year on, and we're on the brink of arguably the most impressive automatic League One promotion in modern times. Everyone is happy and Michael Skubala is close to adding his name to that of Taylor, Alexander, Cowley, Murphy and Anderson. No journey is linear, but sometimes, supporting your club is about seeing the small wins, and accepting the minor setbacks without a full-blown implosion. Remember that next time we lose a couple of games. #SkubalaIN

@Staceywestblog @JackMulhall92 The irony I see here is the doubters thought we could do better as a football club….. yet mid table throwing leads away and going on losing runs was acceptable to some. Seems the doubters have this season been proved right….. there was room for improvement 🤔

Honestly, if I'd known club mood was shifting on Kennedy, I might have gone in harder. I didn't, until the day he was sacked. Maybe that proves your point, but I genuinely didn't see how toxic it had become, because Kennedy to all intents and purposes cut me off for having an opinion on matches. I'm sure you'll appreciate the irony in that being fact 😅

As a supporter of Lincoln City for over 40 years my record v Rotherham United is Horrendous! At 13yo I watched Desmond Hazel terrorise us and I haven’t let it go 😉! Hoping that this Team of Winners put them to the sword tomorrow and I can get on with my life 😂! UTI!
