I’m looking for a ticket for the Wimbledon game #imps fans. Circumstances changed aka I’ve cancelled our Easter break for Wimbledon and Reading.

@JackMulhall92 @Staceywestblog It’s a good debate and one we were having last night, I don’t think an outsider looking in would have been massively surprised if we sacked Skubala after last winter period. Would we have blamed the club, if they had? It looked ominous

@Staceywestblog I do agree with your general point though, it’d be interesting to see what would happen at a lot of clubs with the benefit of time. There’s a good Gary Rowett pod, he said something like as a manager you either need money or time

This isn't smug or anything, but I really hope that our current success demonstrates something to fans. March 1st 2025, we lost 4-3 at Barnsley. We were poor, but the flood of 'Skubala Out' messages around then was unbelievable. I even turned commenting off because I defended the team, Skubala and got all sorts of abuse. One year on, and we're on the brink of arguably the most impressive automatic League One promotion in modern times. Everyone is happy and Michael Skubala is close to adding his name to that of Taylor, Alexander, Cowley, Murphy and Anderson. No journey is linear, but sometimes, supporting your club is about seeing the small wins, and accepting the minor setbacks without a full-blown implosion. Remember that next time we lose a couple of games. #SkubalaIN

@YesWeCrann Without getting into whether the punishment is too harsh, how many players will Wednesday have on the books contracted from this year and on over £7k a week to water this down . I’d guess £7k a week average for 22 man squad would get you something competitive.

I understand the -15, it's in the regulations and if it's waived then it could set a dangerous precedent... But a £7k wage cap on top of the deduction and the fee restriction feels absolutely unnecessary and unjustified. Completely unfair.
