TOWNS – the most careless distribution or plain stupidity? Yesterday the @TownsProtocol checker went live — and saying it was surprising is putting it mildly. Yes, everyone got guaranteed x's on their efforts. But most of the big players and influencers got completely shaved. Take me as an example — I spent half a year promoting the platform on my Telegram channel, brought in hundreds of users, created tons of Towns filled with real people… and ended up with just 4,000 tokens. Same fate for many influencer friends. It seems we got banned without any checks, just because there were people in our towns. That they were from our community? Apparently no one cared. Our tokens were wiped out — no investigation, no appeal. Meanwhile, others who didn’t create big towns built huge farms of 100–200 accounts. They passed 100%, and their multis got more than I did on my main wallet. Just total absurdity. As one of my followers said: "Community is everything — and once again, it got wrecked." (Ironic, considering how little the team seems to care about actual communities.) But at the same time hundreds or even thousanda bots with AI-writing feature who gained 20k beavers 0 tips 0 built communities got 1.5k+.
