@BrianLehrer
Tell your guest to stop making broad generalizations - I don’t know ANYONE who feels nostalgic about Reagan. He was poison, the thin edge of the wedge.
JUST IN: Trump confirms that a chunk of his ear is gone, details more injuries he received during an interview with the New York Post.
Trump says he was hit so hard by Secret Service who rushed to protect him, that his shoes fell off.
The former president said he wanted to keep speaking but he obviously had to leave.
The Post says a small chunk of Trump’s ear is gone which was protected by a white bandage during their interview.
Trump also showed the Post a large bruise on his forearm that he got from hitting the ground.
"They took him out with one shot right between the eyes. They did a fantastic job."
Trump said he would be attending the funeral of Corey Comperatore who lost his life at the rally.
Trump also praised the attendees at the rally for staying calm: "I love them. They are such great people.

@BrianLehrer To my earlier point, this guest is so elite-addled that she can’t pronounce CUNY correctly! FIND BETTER GUESTS!!! This lady is a unicorn and a drinker of the privilege Kool-Aid!
@BrianLehrer This woman’s story is very sad, but it’s also, I suspect, EXTREMELY rare. The rap against the SATs is that it’s inherently biased racially and economically. Colleges are not up to the work of true ‘holistic’ admissions, nor motivated to do it.
@BrianLehrer Not because her first language seems to not be English, but this female guest is awful - hasn’t really answered a single question, just repeated talking points. She doesn’t seem to understand what’s being asked.
@chrislhayes
Hey, Chris! Ask Ava D how she reconciles pushing all of Hollywood to hire people of color (which they should - their record is disgraceful) when she hired a white dude to edit “Thirteen?” To paraphrase “Hollywood Shuffle,” Ava ain’t about NOTHIN’!

@BrianLehrer Prof. Hill is right that the Senate missed the opportunity to put protocols in place. But the Hill hearings made us aware that the crap we were experiencing constantly at work wasn’t just business as usual, it was sexual harassment and it was WRONG!
Life-changing!
@ikuziemko As opposed to now, where we have amateur student-athletes learning valuable lessons about their coaches getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars while they do the work and don’t make a cent.
If NCAA athletes must be amateur student-athletes, why shouldn't we also have amateur student-coaches? Student-coaches would learn valuable lessons about life and leadership.
And let’s not forget the 51 other douchey male and female Senators who put their personal interests above the democracy they swore to serve. Get rid of them!
And may we please see the gerontocracy gracefully retire, and make way for people NOT connected to prior dynasties? May we please turn to candidates under the age of 70? No Clintons, no Biden, no Kennedys, no John Kerry. We thank you for your service, especially Nancy.
I was raised devoutly Catholic so maybe I'm just a prude, but shouldn't membership in a secret society that glorifies sexual assault (and no one denies this point regarding Kavanagh's time at Yale) be disqualifying for appointment to SCOTUS? Absent a sincere apology, in any case?
But I learned a LOT - a life changing experience! And it didn’t take much to make me take a hard look at my white privilege - it’s another way into societal/institutional racial bias.
@msnbc, #EverydayRacismInAmerica
@msnbc, #EverydayRacism Good conversation - but what about asking white people to face their biases? I adopted a 7 year old child from Ethiopia in 2005, and got some VERY eye-opening training before he arrived. It was NOT easy on my self-image as a progressive non-racist!
