@mmlxblitz @AuSaiz @MaryK2022 It’s mainly in desert regions like Arizona. Oregon and Idaho are still considered high desert and it’s regulated. Our water goes downstream and to ensure Oregon has water we do not overuse. The Colorado river is a great example of no regulation when it reaches Mexico.

@mmlxblitz @MaryK2022 Water rights are sourced to land owners/farmers. When you live in a state that has a large farming community the water belongs to those that have purchased rights. This is stealing from the farms and basically all of us and the food we eat.
