WOW. There is a HUGE Special Operations Deployment arriving in the Mid East. The seizure of Kharg and Hormuz Island is almost 100% going ahead. We don’t deploy this for nothing. Army Ch-47 Helicopters 160th SOAR MH-60 helicopters Units fm: Both 1st & 2nd Batt 75th Rangers 5th SF Group US Army Delta Force SEAL TEAM-6 Centcom task force USAF 621st “Devil Raiders” contingency response team (runway repair) 82nd Airborne already likely deployed. Ovda Airbase in Israel is near the Elat on the Red Sea and is empty & full of hard shelters. King Faisal in Al-Jafr Jordan is a huge base used by USSOF before. It’s close to KATSOC training facility for work ups. With Tripoli MEU inchopping the Gulf of Oman on Friday this is a huge force for multiple Islands & locations, not just Kharg. They intend to take and repair one runway (Kharg). This force is not leverage. This is a commitment to take action.
TheIntelFrog@TheIntelFrog

The manager can pull all the right strings, but if he does not have the bullpen personnel to work with, then managing a bullpen becomes extremely difficult. This feels like an area where Tony Vitello is not really set up for success.

This is what you get with an impulsive person. He gets on social media, gets caught up in a “moment,” then spews out unnecessary comments, he then realizes he screwed up, and tries to recover. How about a clear strategy without all the “noise?” I think unfortunately, he is incapable of that.

⚡️BREAKING⚡️ DJT has just posted on Truth Social that he will temporarily CEASE strikes on Iran's energy targets. It seems that, under pressure of Iran's threat to the world economy, Trump has blinked first. Analysis: proves Trump regime had not considered implications of their war. Will strengthen Tehran & disappoint Iranians hoping for regime change

It feels to me like the gloves are off. Although we will not know what was going on behind the scenes, I suspect Ukraine had moderated their attacks on Russia in response to pressure from Trump. With him being totally consumed by the war with Iran, Ukraine now seems to be uninhibited in using their firepower on Russian economic targets

Ukraine, meanwhile, tries to limit Russia’s windfall from rising oil prices. Ukrainian drones struck overnight the oil export terminal port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea, near St. Petersburg.

🔥🛢️ Russia: Ukraine has sanctioned Russian oil, cutting off about 20% of daily export volume. The Port of Primorsk reportedly exported 1.0-1.5 million barrels per day through the Baltic Sea.

💥 Russia: Massive Ukrainian drone strikes blew up vast areas of the Port of Primorsk, Russia's largest oil export terminal that processes 1.0-1.5 million barrels/day - 100 million tons of oil & oil products per year. 1,000km from Ukraine.

I really don’t want to see videos of American infantrymen getting hit with FPV drones. Keep our soldiers and marines out of harm’s way unless there is no other option. Supporting the troops doesn’t always mean supporting the war. Not every war is WW2.

Why the F did we require MEUs if it's not for the amphibious lift? If it's to be a heliborne assault, why wait a month? They'd have to fly 600nm from the IO to Kuwait anyway and leave their resupply and AAVs behind. Then Ospray over to an island that 8km x4 km and 60 % of it is filled with burnable flammable things? Its ridiculous. If we don't run the SOH, which could be mined, all of these Marines could have been unassed from the amphibs in Japan and San Diego, flown by 747 to Kuwait City, trained in the desert for a month and let C-17s fly in 30-40 AAVs and bring them over the NPG on D-Day with contract barges and tugs to 15nm from Kharg. Add in the Osprays, Vipers, F-35s, and HIMARS and voila, you have your MAGTF minus the ships. This is just piss poor planning covering for the original plan where they didn't even think they needed Marines or minesweepers in a place we have always had Marines and Minsweepers.
