@WmcmahonMcmahon @FowlClaytoris I think mcavoy should get 6-8 games and benson 1-3 imo, both dirty plays, retaliation usually gets worse and also mcavoy has more of a history. I doubt benson actually gets a game tho prolly just a fine

What McAvoy did was stupid and should cost him some games, but doing this, especially that close to the boards, is way more dangerous and should cost Benson a lot of games

The whole series all you heard from Bruins fans was “wow you can tell you haven’t been here in a while! It’s the playoffs, they’re not gonna call any pushing or grabbing!”
And now their tone is completely changed when little 5’10 Zach Benson gives cry baby Charlie McAvoy a little push. They’re screaming about how Benson should get a multiple game suspension! Bruins fans will never not be the biggest pussy fans in the league.

Also they weren’t touching his gloves, they even bulldozed through him a few times, either way, Buffalo was the better team to begin with so the bruins needed help

I don’t expect they give him any games but he should get fined at least. Also pretty sure Marchand got suspended for doing that a few times but maybe they only fined him

I’ll bet it will not be a long suspension.
The slew foot is just as bad, and they’re not going to suspend Benson any amount of time in the playoffs. So McAvoy will get off light too.
Both did something very dumb. Neither got hurt. Everyone will move on and forget about it.

@bruinsbian Yeah cause most casuals who just show up for the playoffs still expect this to be the same bruins from past playoff runs. This team was great to even make it. They need a few pieces, a Robert Thomas and a #6 overall pick d man? Maybe 2 more nice additions

@2Goalies1Mic If mcavoy gets more then 6 games benson should get at least 1 game. They focus more on retaliation but bensons play was still dirty, and he doesn’t have a history so Charlie’s sentence should worse. I think both should be penalized tho. 7 games and 2 games or something like that

Yeah bensons is in the play but still just a dirty move late in a game that’s already over in a series that’s over. Mcavoy might get like 5 games or something and benson should get 2 or 3

All they care about is a Benson slewfoot, which frankly, McAvoy deserved 😂 low hit on Malenstyn, slewfoot on Tage, elbow to Doans head... the list goes on
