Happy 46th birthday to Cretin-Derham Hall graduate, @GopherBaseball all-time great, 2001 @BigTen Player of the Year, and eight-year major leaguer Jack Hannahan. It's always interesting to hop on @Baseball_Ref and look up how Minnesotans did against the #MNTwins. Hannahan hit a game-tying homer off closer @MattCapps55 on June 8, 2011. (Twins won it in the 10th.)

It is with a heavy heart that we relay the news of the passing of legendary Pirates and National Baseball Hall of Famer, Bill Mazeroski. Maz was a 7-time All-Star who hit the greatest home run in baseball history. He was a beloved member of the Pirates family and he will be deeply missed.
