@m_brooker11@Riley_Davis3 Some of those wild passes can help a team like Zona get back out in transition too. Will be interesting to see if Elliott plays more under control as the game goes on.
Somewhere, somehow, the following made it out of a planning meeting:
“Hey, I’ve got a great idea - instead of having a normal warm up period between #FinalFour games, let’s have a concert on one end of the arena that pushes tip-off to 9:19ET the night before Easter.”
Billy Donovan with the 5th highest win % in the NCAA Tournament all-time while I hear of chorus of UNC fans talking about what an underwhelming candidate he is.
🙄
@PatrickWelter@Joey_Powell Putting this out from one agent is fine but it doesn't help media credibility in future reporting. Just b/c. 1 source says it doesn't mean it needs to be shared. a plan not shared doesn't necessarily mean there is no plan. That said prior searches may agree w/your take.
@Joey_Powell It was a name that was floated to me by an agent. Not saying it’s the right choice or one that they are considering. Point is there doesn’t seem to a clear back up now if Donovan and May aren’t it.
@JacobTurnerNC Billy can flat out coach. I'm with you. Any of the three are good hires. Billy did do it for over 20 years at the college level with great success. He changed styles several times and won.
It’s still Tommy Lloyd, Dusty May, and Billy Donovan in that order for me.
I’ve gone back and forth between Dusty and Billy, but Donovan being out of the college game for 10+ years does concern me a little bit.
Truly don’t think you can go wrong with any of these three, though.
@Joey_Powell that late three by UConn had to hurt but it's not as if Mullins hit a dagger three after your star hit one to tie it in a national title game.
It’s now been 11 years since #Duke has played in a championship game.
Implosion.
The Devils have signed 36 five-stars in that span, more than any program.
Wild to think a Duke freshman was in 2nd grade last time Duke played for a title.
