Graphics aside, the original 1996 Resident Evil is just genuinely more fun to play than the 2002 remake. If you’re wondering why, it’s probably because you’ve either never played the original or haven’t in a long time. Better puzzles, pacing, progression and design.

@MattsGeekCorner I got mine in 2014 too, got it at a flea market for 5 bucks. Good game, not selling mine although I have no idea what they go for now lol

I still had the receipt in my copy of Eternal Darkness and I still cant believe I paid only $35 for it back in 2014. And even then I was saying damn thats too much. But compared to what it goes for now it was nothing.
