In the 1980s, while India, Pakistan, North Korea, and Iran were testing solid-fueled ballistic missiles with a range of 200 miles, Egypt was testing its Victor missiles with a range of 425 miles. I'll let you to imagine where you've ended up after 40 years.

I can only speak for our guys, but in principle, an Egyptian Paratrooper Brigade that is airdropped in enemy territory is expected to continuously fight (keyword, continiously) and have effective combat capability for six hours, if it can be resupplied, it can even be 12 hours.

@SherifA93574198 If you mean Kharg, Iraqi Marines and Paratroopers never tried to land in the Island, it was too far away and these men were better used elsewhere

@MedManOG Iraq attacked that island for straight 8 years with a lot of ammunition and even came with an entire new plane modification to do it and the result was minimal

6 hours of straight combat - maybe 12 if they get supplied again.
Iranians will never stop harassing elements of the 82nd, it will be continuous engagement, since they are Americans let us triple it, 18 hours straight and 36 if resupplied.
No link-up and no nearby friendlies.
