Earlier this month, Natsuki and I set off 100 kilometres along the Nakasendo. The historic route through the mountains of central Japan. Just the two of us. No film crew, no hotel buffets, no escape. If you ever want to truly test a friendship, try sharing a tent with Natsuki while he snores like a ragged industrial fax machine. But honestly, it was the sort of journey that makes you remember why you fell in love with travelling in Japan in the first place. A mixture of Studio Ghibliesque scenery. Kind strangers. And ruthless dogs. It’s also comfortably my favourite Abroad in Japan video of 2025. Filming solo was tough, but it reminded me how much I enjoy capturing a journey and trying to do it justice on screen. If you’re in Japan, set aside a few days and walk even just a small part of the Nakasendo. You don’t need to do 100 kilometres. But pick a section and go. Lose track of the time. Hopefully you’ll find something out there in the forests and mountains you didn’t realise you were looking for in the first place.

#LatestPickup 🎮 Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Decided (as usual) to pop into Megastore Collectibles and found this absolute gem. I've been after this for a while, finally found it, complete w/ manual, basically New, One of the best condition MD games I've found in years.
