🗺️ The founders in this year’s analysis come from 29 different countries. For the first time, the US is not the biggest pipeline of entrepreneurial talent to Britain – that award now goes to France, with 12 founders coming from across the Channel vs. 7 from across the Atlantic.

⏩ We analysed Britain’s 100 fastest-growing companies and discovered that 54% have a foreign-born founder – the highest percentage on record since we began tracking it in 2019. In other words, over half of some of our most amazing businesses exist because of immigrants.

Ask anyone about Britain’s startup ecosystem and they’ll tell you that immigrants are vital to its ongoing success. But what do the data say? @TenThinkTank crunched the numbers… 🧶

@michaelmiraflor Same here, always ask before meetings and online classes as not everyone might want to take part in it. The interesting discussion we had was on Uni IP on the content shared during online classes - is it even legal to have full transc. by a 3rd p or what if it gets leaked etc.

I have recently been asking people if it’s okay to invite my AI notetaker to the call before letting it into the Zoom. Most people don’t mind. I’ve had a few people say no (which is fine). Most everyone is thankful that I asked. Has prompted a few discussions about meeting etiquette (isn’t it weird how we’ve just normalized AI recording our NDA-protected convos?) and privacy/disclosure. I now realize that some people are very self-conscious about bots being on the call and change their tenor based on presence (“I can be myself on this one”). Thought all of this was really interesting…
