@OnFireAnders To be completely honest, none of them is the actual reason. It's just that the football culture and related games/consoles take over (or at least took over) everything till now. In addition, we lacked behind in "internet culture" due to poor internet infrastructure for many years

@Martin_RGB According to Steamfolio in the first month after release, the Shanghai capsule with the highest market cap sold (in the market) -80% wrt the CPH counterpart, which was already abysmal. Honestly I hope you're right, but the lazier valve gets, the worse the scenario will become..

@Metallu96 Once the major ends, there's nothing to be hyped about (in relation to stickers) until the sale starts, this happens every major. I disagree with it not outperforming CPH, I believe that will happen easily once the sale starts (even more so after seeing the numbers above)

to add onto this (stickermoney) I wasn't allowed to talk about this at all, but if you want to calculate how much stickermoney in 2024 looked, I suggest watching The Four Horsemen S3E13 with Jason Lake (by @LastFreeNation) He said PGL Major in 🇩🇰 was 75% weaker compared to BLAST Major in 🇫🇷 (depending on the capsule) PGL Major in 🇨🇳 looks to be ~30 to ~40% LESS than PGL Major in 🇩🇰 (the sale is still ongoing, though) With that, my income video from 2023 and 2024 should give you all the data you need to roughly calculate stickermoney of last 3 majors. @Martin_RGB @STYKOcs @LastFreeNation I think it's safe to say they performed worse than CPH. Major has ended since weeks and there is absolutely 0 hype. Chinese fanbase will inflate the numbers a little but the sticker situation is disastrous. Couple majors like this and players will get 3€ each in stickers revenue

@1danne1_CS2 I got you, it's a mixed feeling between failure and defeat, it's normal and it'll pass. The hard lesson learnt here is to never open links from Steam, delete APIs and split valuable items in multiple accounts. Stay strong, gotta grind for the next fantasy now, and fuck scammers
