Dear Senate GOP, I registered as a Republican for the first time, 193 days ago. I was SO freaking excited to be a part of the MAGA movement. 193 days later I want my enthusiasm back, because you've done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to deserve it. You're funding left-wing NGOs, blocking DOGE cuts, going on vacation, not codifying Trump's executive orders, not passing the SAVE Act. The Democrats would torch literally EVER SINGLE RULE and destroy every norm and precedent to push through their agenda. They don't care about decorum. They don't care about procedure. They care about WINNING. What do YOU actually care about, GOP? You were given EVERYTHING YOU COULD HAVE POSSIBLY WANTED. The White House. The Senate. The House. A president willing to fight. I can't help but wonder if his 3 AM attempt to fund TSA and not ICE in the stripped-down DHS funding bill was only to ease his own travel experience as he left the American people hanging with unsecured elections and underfunded immigration enforcement. The House rejected the gutted DHS funding bill and passed its own, which included funding for ICE/CBP. Time for leadership in the Senate that works for AMERICA!
