hmmmm, the original muscle car of the US was the corvette. it has been around for 75 years. along came Tesla with a family sedan that absolutely smoked all muscle cars. Finally, corvette came up with a car that is 2x the price, 2 seater, 2 door 100% sports car that can beat the Tesla sedan. My bet is that the Tesla sports car will destroy the competition.

The ZR1X is putting down 1,250 horsepower, 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds, and running an 8.67 second quarter mile. This thing is no joke.
For years the Model S Plaid was dominating the track. But with the Model S ending production, Tesla's answer to the competition will likely be the Roadster.
Tesla is going to need to bring everything they've got. This is going to be one of the greatest performance battles we've ever seen.
