There’s something supremely saddening and enraging about seeing a hospital running on bare minimum power. Thinking about dialysis patients, babies in NICU, and others tonight in Cuba. This is a blockade of death.

Hoje dei mais um passo na reparação da minha própria história e também na reparação da história de tantas mulheres que tiveram suas dignidades negadas. Porque não é apenas a questão trans que determina como uma mulher será tratada ou destratada A raça, a classe, o CEP e tantas outras condições ainda definem, quem tem direitos garantidos e quem precisa lutar todos os dias para existir com dignidade. Por isso, hoje ocupei com honra, alegria e um sabor muito especial de vitória a presidência da Comissão da Mulher (uma vitória construída enfrentando e derrotando o centrão e a extrema direita). E não estou nem um pouco preocupada se o esgoto da sociedade não gostou. A opinião de transfóbicos e imbeCIS é a última coisa que me importa. Hoje fiz história por mim, que tive minha adolescência e minha dignidade roubada pelo preconceito e discriminação . Hoje fiz história pela minha comunidade, que ainda enfrenta os piores índices em praticamente todos os aspectos da vida social. E é isso que vai ficar: não o ódio, não o ranço, não a raiva dos que tentam nos apagar. Podem espernear. Podem latir. Eu sou a presidenta da Comissão da Mulher.
 E foi a minha luta, a minha história e a minha garra que me trouxeram até aqui. E agora faremos um debate sobre todas as mulheres pq somente unidas podemos frear a violência que nos assola.
