If the UK government ever went out of its way to prevent someone like Valentina Gomez crossing the Channel, or acted to detain her on arrival, it would effectively become a live case study.
It would demonstrate something many people already suspect: that the state does have the capability to stop illegal crossings when it chooses to prioritise it.

The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us.

His asylum claim was rejected years ago, yet a judge ruled that deporting him would breach his human rights. He remains free on our streets. Meanwhile, Shabana Mahmood has banned @ValentinaForUSA from entering the UK. This move only proves how much influence the Muslim Brotherhood now holds over the government. They clearly don’t realise they cannot stop @TRobinsonNewEra from live-streaming her speech on the main stage - just like Tommy did with Elon Musk. In banning her, they have exposed themselves yet again today.

We can, but we can't remember any even being put to the courts nevermind jailed.
