@carterivan68 @davy2022 They spent all the Cousins savings to win last year. Didn’t happen and now the cap is a problem again. So you give up a respected vet a year earlier than you might have to get younger and cheaper. Don’t like it, but that’s NFL economics.

@ktmichaelis Because I’m old, I remember that Matt Blair fell to them in the second round because he had a knee injury his senior season. Doesn’t mean this kid will necessarily succeed. Just means let’s see what he brings this fall.

Re-aggravated the same shoulder during the season
Eventually required offseason surgery
Sophomore year (2005)
High ankle sprain (right ankle) and a broken foot
Missed games and was limited in several others
Junior year (2006)
Broken collarbone
Missed 7 games and most of the regular season
This was the big one because it was right before the draft.
This was Adrian Peterson, and he turned out alright for us.
