Trade: Vikings are sending former Pro-Bowl LB Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a third-round pick tonight (No. 98) and a third-round pick next year, per me and @rapsheet. Greenard and the Eagles reached agreement on a four-year, $100 milllion extension that includes $50 million fully guaranteed, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.

@carterivan68 I was shocked by the pick . Only for the reason all I heard was the safety was the perfect fit . Knowing now that they had a deal with Philly it makes a little more sense I guess

@carterivan68 Don’t know . I think he will. Even if he does he will be a 50 percent snap count probably . Steam is the Vikings have multi safety’s they like mid rounds . They will draft one with either 97 or 98 I believe

Jonathan Greenard was due a non-guaranteed $40 million over the next two years. The Eagles are giving him $50 million over the next two years—a $10 million raise—and guaranteeing all of it.

The Vikings are trading OLB Jonathan Greenard to the Eagles for the 98th pick, and Philly has reached agreement on a four-year, $100 million deal with the pass rusher with $50 million fully guaranteed. Greenard's availability was initially tied to his desire for a raise. Minnesota balked, but said if he could get one elsewhere, and the Vikings could get a Day 2 pick for him, then they'd deal him. Minnesota keeps its word.

@ChadHartmanShow I feel you ... never fun letting an elite player go. But he wasn't playing on his current deal, team has the next guy up, getting 2 3rds is good return. Can't pay everyone ... they drafted well to replace him. Hard decisions. Wilfs are hardly the Pohlads ... you know that!

ESPN sources: the Green Bay Packers are trading wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick.
Wicks will sign a one-year, $12.5 million extension with the Eagles, per his agent @DavidMulugheta.
