I want to thank the microscopic core facility @JDKolape @MicroscopyUtk to train me using the Leica, so that I can have colocalization Jurkat T cells' images for my paper.

Katie did a fantastic job in presenting her work at the Appalachian Regional Microscopy Society Meeting. She won “Innovation Award” for her great work using electron microscopy. Katie learned her EM skills from electron microscopy class that we offer through @BCMB_UTK

Last month we conducted an outreach for homeschoolers. They were so excited to see science in action. They had an opportunity to operate @Hitachi_EM TM3030 SEM independently. #STEMeducation #sem #outreach #education #homeschooling

Today we hosted senior students from West High School @KnoxSchools Students had opportunity learning about confocal, scanning & transmission electron microscope. Thanks to @petersonkatie_ & @debalina_rockz for demonstrating their microscopy skills for this outreach activity.
