It's largely because the current President of Nigeria is a Yoruba man. It was there when we had a VP with PMB but not at this current scale that we have the Presidency.
It's terrible today...just like they were cussing Northerns, Fulanis especially, and being hateful towards them when Buhari was President.
The unfortunate part in all of these is how a section of the North (a part of their elites inclusive) is now brazenly part of the well and usual known culprits (most Igbos) who are doing it.
I even see Northerners who were on the same divide with us throughout the Buhari era, now openly cussing us the Yoruba and hurling all forms of bigotry at us just because of APC/PBAT.
