@mrmichaelbarton The team already lacks depth in respect to aerial ability and height. You can debate his legs but his heading in both boxes will be very difficult to replace.

United’s midfield needs an overhaul but there’s only Casimero that needs replacing and he’s been one of the clubs best players this season. It’ll have to be some player that comes in and replaces him. Any other midfield reinforcements will be bench players

@UtdResurgent De Gea & Bruno yes but no Herrara?!? Rooney played until 2017. Mata? I’d even argue for Pogba! Rashford had one elite season but otherwise just too inconsistent & self important - you could argue Zlatan over him!

@bethTmufc I think well guilty of over complicating football. If the post Fergie has proven anything it’s that you can choose a top manager on paper but that’s no guarantee of success. If a manager comes in, improves players/performances and gets results we’d be idiots to get rid of him.

Where’s everyone at with Carrick? I still want to wait until the end of the season and do a thorough managerial process but it might become riskier to NOT give it him than to give it him.

Isn’t it weird how much better these ‘terrible’ players look instilled with belief and confidence with some simplified attacking football. Time for the scapegoaters to sit down and judge INEOS at the end of the season. Come on United!
