@kateallender29 All of our SLT teach exam classes. It is the norm in our trust

A teacher friend of mine (also at my school) was shocked that I went to fetch a student for her exam as she was going to be late. There are a lot of things people don’t see SLT do

@Fletcherjason1 My technicians know that I will always do at least one to show the pupils before they do the practical.

@RobbleWhizzBang @ShakinthatChalk Had this discussion with some of ours too. It is also blurred by the fact you still have to show ID to buy beer/spirits etc which are classed as non-alcoholic, including the 0.0% ones...

Why is it inappropriate if it’s non alcoholic? Grape juice looks like wine but wouldn’t be considered inappropriate.

@ThreeSigFigs We have students who have Maths, PE and Citizenship all on the same day. Maths in the AM, the other two in the PM. All GCSE. 5.5 hours of exams on the one day. Luckily those who do all 3 at ours don't have extra time...

Is anyone else in the same situation? Friend says her son has GCSE Chem 2, History P2 and Further Maths on the same day with two half hour breaks in between. This seems ALOT for a 16 yr old. He’s on the verge of ditching FM 😮😮
