Today it was sparked by a strong jobs report in the US which makes people think the FED will raise rates which is bad for stocks. It’s also bad for non yielding assets like gold. Plus at the same time tech stocks are very stretched & trading on expensive multiples whilst we have a lot of new stock coming to market with SpaceX next week. I’d be buying the dip in gold & gold miners. The jobs report was heavily skewed by leisure jobs - most likely hiring ahead of the World Cup - so temporary in nature. I do not think the Fed will raise rates.
