I get the concern about protecting the Constitution, but in the U.S. no religious law like Sharia can override it. The Constitution is the highest law, and any law that violates it doesn’t stand. Also, Sharia is a broad set of personal religious practices, not a political system that can be imposed here. And it’s worth noting that restrictions on rights, especially women’s right, have actually come from within U.S. law itself at times, not from religion, but from political decisions and court rulings. So the real issue is how our own legal system is applied, not fear of a foreign religious system replacing it.

That bravery is part of the American story. “Land of the Free and Home of the Brave” means protecting the freedom of every person to practice their faith—or no faith at all—while respecting the rights of others to do the same. It means welcoming people who embrace freedom, equality, and mutual respect. What does not belong here is intolerance, extremism, or radicalism from any side that seeks to silence others, deny their rights, or impose domination through fear and division. America works best when every voice can be heard, every person can live freely, and no one is oppressed for who they are or what they believe. We stand for liberty, pluralism, and the fundamental right of people to pursue their own path. That is the promise of America, and it remains worth defending. This woman is a 💯 wrong!
