Questions are mounting over King County Metro’s fare enforcement program after new data showed relatively few citations issued despite tens of thousands of fare checks, prompting calls for oversight from county leaders.
King County Council member Reagan Dunn said he has requested a hearing to review the program and get answers from Metro leadership.
“I’ve already requested a hearing on the matter, and I’d like to get a full briefing on what’s going on,” Dunn said.

Recipients are listed as "family home facility" with only city where located as identifier. So $57 million of OUR money going to who? Commerce document for awards says:The names and locations of in-home care providers (Family Home Facility*) that are not operating under a commercial license have been simplified to protect sensitive personal information. @KalleSorbo And as a Denverite of 12 years and the biggest advocate of the city, who just visited Seattle earlier this week, holy fuck, Seattle demolishes Denver when it comes to the urban fabric, density, variety of food options, overall landscape. Arguably, it was sunny all week.
