Arteta's opportunity to play Skelly into form in Rice's position as a backup has now gone.

1. Arteta will play Rice every single game from now till the end of the season until he faints on the pitch. 2. I've said this before but Dowman should be starting some games. Wing or central, it doesn't matter. He seems to play well with Ødegaard (preseason and against Southampton), so he can play RW with Ø central. He can also play central with Madueke RW. He can also play RW with Saka central. 3. Trossard has regressed in the second half of the season and Martinelli is Martinelli. When Eze returns from injury, it's the perfect time to play him as a LW. 4. THE INDIVIDUAL MISTAKES GAVE TO STOP. You can blame Arteta all you want, but these players are professionals. We keep making mistakes to give the opponent goals. 5. I wouldn't be surprised if Kepa, White, and Gabriel Jesus are not starting another game for Arsenal from now till the end of the season, based on this performance.

If Mikel Arteta somehow wins this Arsenal the Premier League due to the quality of it this season, that would be a good place for him to leave this project. He seems very limited, arrogant and does not like to change his style of play and tactics.

Btw if you claim to be an Arsenal fan but say that even winning the PL wouldn’t be enough for you to look back on this season favorably or not demand the manager’s head, I hope you walk away from football, at least for a while. You’ve clearly let outside factors ruin it for you.
