@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart You have taxed every parasitic company that has a perceived unfair advantage of success now no jobs no growth no innovation. Congrats now we are going to replace it with what?

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart No, I don't want this. You are presenting a false dichotomy, where either you have an unrestricted notion of property rights or no property relations at all. Both of these scenarios lead to absurdities. You are the one who seemingly founds morality through property relations.

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart You do realize Tesla is owned by over 48 mil People every employee gets stock options so they too own this company. By taking out one person you have just affected half of the USA in some way Destroying many lives.

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart You want to take a human being whom by all rights has equal value to you because that person became too successful by out optimizing and maximizing his income? I believe you put it as "Tax them out of Existence"

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart The maximizing profit-mentality has to be restricted to specific contexts, otherwise it will cause only destruction and wars. This is the prisoners dilemma, where optimizing behavior leads to the worst outcome.

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart But you said it was a monopoly. Do you want someone to come into your home and freely be able to take your stuff? Do you want someone to be able to keep your paycheck when they want?

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart I wouldn't say the situation is a monopoly, because it relates to the structure of markets within a larger society. But I would argue that it follows the same logic. If you hold a unique right to something valuable and you hold it to gain massive advantage, this is harmful.

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart Do you give half your paycheck back to your employer every week? Or do you maximize your earnings and keep it for yourself? There is no moral reason not to keep what you have rightfully earned. How many times has someone taken your paycheck? Do you want them to?

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart Sounds like it to me yes. You saying by giving money to a campaign you believe in is the same as withholding water from someone. BTW no one can by law mopolize withhold water so again your avoiding the direct answer

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart Rather, imagine two people A and B waking up in a room. A wakes up first declares ownership of all the materials within the room. As B wakes up and gets thirsty, the A can set arbitrary conditions for B to get water and B will accept the conditions to survive. Exploitative?

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart Define hurting people? If there is 2 people in a room. One guy wants the opposite of the other person so you can only please one. Both people have valid points but one has something you like more so you chose him. Now you just created a monoply?

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart In a monopoly a single actor has cornered a market with no essential competitors. Usually it is related to something people deem quite valuable. When they own a given resource, then according to your logic they can do whatever they wish with it. Even if this hurts people.

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart Once a market is established there may not be any other viable paths to create competitive companies. You can measure the level of explotation by how much value is extracted from the workers to the owners. This level has increased a lot in the last 50 years. This is nothing new.

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart Your arguments are that people are doing things in a free society that you don't like. You want to stop people from doing all the things you feel is wrong... Is this right?

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart I didn't say he is a convict, but good catch. He is a likely predator, might I add. The whole American political apparatus is funded by special interest groups that represent private capital. No conspiracy there. Musk alone gave more than 200 million to the campaign. Conspiracy?

@MindReflects @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart So a child was able to choose for themselves to go work in a mine. You feel like it's fair to tell that free person how they should live their life. You can't have both can you? Your either free or forced to do something you don't want to do.

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart In a systemic level, this extraction of value from the worker is a very good definition of exploitation as it is objectively measurable and its consequences in systemic level reflect what we mean by exploitation. A child can have a free choice to go to work in a mine as in 1800s.

@Morrigon36 @HanikaAlex76444 @MaryRuwart I have not talked about myself. I have not talked about boogeyman, I've explained the logic of exploitation in the grand scheme. Can you repeat your arguments? What have I said that you'd consider a conspiracy?

@omgsidewalks I see a lot of finger pointing and very little problem solving these days. Maybe that could be the root problem?

I can’t let capitalism gaslight me into being a bad person. You don’t think everyone deserves food, shelter, clean water, and healthcare? That’s very sad. Maybe you should reevaluate yourself.
