If only someone had said that Israel was going to take over Gaza. Why did no one warn us? Why did Israel keep it so secret? Why did no one tell us that Israel is taking over the West Bank? How could we have known? Why is life so full of surprises?

@bphillipsonMP I’m no Tory, but for her to talk about brass necks - the irony is staggering. If you want to address the ‘SEND issue’, start by fully funding LAs & and schools so they can actually implement the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice. Ensure accountability

Children with SEND will always have a legal right to support. Labour will not just protect but improve that support. But I'll take no lessons from the Tories, who left behind a 'lose, lose, lose' system in their own words. I don't know how they have the brass neck.

The Chancellor has confirmed there will be a schools white paper in autumn, which will include the Govt's plans for SEND reform. Constant rumours and speculation about what reform might look like is hugely unsettling for families. We urge the Govt to be clear on its intentions.
